Doggo House
The mini-architectural intervention creates interactive zones, allowing seamless movement between indoors and outdoors. Material choices prioritize durability and comfort, with reclaimed wood and custom metal joineries providing a robust yet warm palette.Passive cooling strategies maintain a comfortable indoor environment, while pet-friendly design elements—low-height seating, integrated play areas, and soft, non-slip flooring—enhance usability and safety. The result is an adaptive, carefully crafted ecosystem that strengthens the emotional bond between pets and their owners.
In collaboration with Faizan Khatri Design Workshop, we designed and built this playful Doggo House in Alibaug. Constructed from recycled timber and finished with natural oils, the unit was prefabricated in components at a Mumbai workshop and then transported and rapidly assembled on-site within hours.Conceived as a pet home that fosters companionship, Doggo House reimagines living spaces with a focus on shared experiences between humans and their pets.
